During our last trip through Europe, we happened to have an extra two days in Slovenia. This is a country I honestly didn’t know anything about, and never had in mind to visit. It turns out this place is a hidden gem of Europe, and I really wish we would have had a week to explore more. The landscape is incredible, as it borders the Alps, and also has a rich history. The people are friendly, with a wonderful cafe culture. We hope to go back the first chance we get.
